Construction Industry Masterclasses, Armenia

This project to deliver training in ‘Energy Efficiency in Residential Buildings’ was run in collaboration with the UNDP local team in Armenia as a partnership between the UNDP, GEF and Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection. Kirsty was employed as the International Expert for the training component of the project.

The focus of the project Kirsty ran was on:

  • Industry awareness and development through training of professional consultants and contractors across the industry
  • Upskilling of students – the next generation of construction consultants and to achieve this, the upskilling of academics to deliver the training to students

Kirsty has developed training curricula for 6 departments in 4 faculties of the State University, designed a ‘train the trainer’ programme and run workshops for professionals and masters students in energy efficiency in the residential construction sector at the State University and the American University of Armenia.
